Here is a (not terribly interesting) video of the installation of Windows 7 bits given out at the PDC. You can clearly see how closely related to Vista it is.
Apologies for the poor quality - it's a camcorder recording (couldn't figure out if or how to get a direct video feed to the camera from the monitor output)
